- Nothing is uploaded. The work happens inside your browser.
How to use it
- Drop images in, or click to choose them. GIFs and animated WebP can go in too.
- Set the order with the arrows, or sort by name for numbered photos.
- Pick the format and the time per image, then press "Make the GIF".
Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, and this site has no way to receive your images.
GIF or animated WebP: which should I pick?
Pick GIF when it has to work anywhere, such as in a chat app, an old forum or an email. Pick animated WebP for a web page or a blog: less than half the size, with every colour kept.
Can I join two GIFs together?
Yes. Drop the GIFs or animated WebP files in and their frames are taken out and joined into one. Leave "Keep the original speed of animations" ticked to preserve their timing.
Joining needs Chrome, Edge, or Chrome on Android. Safari and Firefox cannot take frames out of an animation.
What if the images are different sizes?
Everything is fitted to the first image, keeping its shape and centring it. Any leftover space is transparent, which shows as white where transparency is not supported.
How much can I use for free? Are there limits?
Every feature, as many times as you like. No daily limit and no account. Up to 500 frames in total, which is what a browser can handle in one go.
Does this work on a phone?
Yes. Please keep the following in mind.
- Many images or frames take a while.
- Keep this page open while it works. Switching to another app stops it.
- Saved files go to the Files app. To put them in Photos, use "Share" next to the save button.
- Joining animations does not work in Safari on an iPhone.
